I am a second-year PhD student in Music Technology at the Schulich School of Music, McGill University, working with Ichiro Fujinaga. My current research explores MIDI-to-score conversion and the evaluation of score quality, with particular attention to how notation, engraving, and typesetting communicate musical relationships. My broader interests include symbolic music representation, music information retrieval, and machine learning.

I am also a composer and arranger for GigiDrive Band, creating Mandarin pop songs with my friends, as well as instrumental light music.
